We were big fans of Intermeida until the pricing went extremely high and support and uptime fell though the floor. We just recovered from no inbound email service for 4 days. It took 2 days before the Russiun support team to acknolege a problem and then 2 days to think about it. The previous outage we were down for 3 days and they had to restore from tape (So much for EMC relablity) Pricing for sharepoint is over $400 per month and so slow you can watch paint dry. We are looking for a new providor and hopefully get off this mess asap.

After years of managing/administrating small-med range level corps. where they wanted Exchange 2000-2007 functionality but were not willing to invest the money in a proper IT Department and server systems to support it made Sherweb a sight for sore eyes. Pierre one of their online sales guys worked with me every step of the way answering all my questions and even getting me in touch with the VP of the company just so I would feel safe about the investment of moving away from my local Exchange system and laying it into the hands of a network/system I did not build. Yeah, you admins out there know what I am talking about. The setup was easy and painless until I had to deal with Outlook 2007's autodiscovery which just took time, 24-48 hours to setup the A name on my host. Other than that everything has gone smoothly and the connection has been stable and fast. I not only got my company's e-mail hosted here but also Sharepoint to hopefully help make our data more portable since we have alot of mobile employees and to serve has an extranet/intranet through the Mircrosoft Application templates, but my learning curve has only begun since I will most likely have to get Sharepoint Designer so I can customize it further into looking more like our main website. Furthermore, their tech. support which I didn't even use their emergency system got back to me in 2-4 hours on minor issues which in the end were issues I caused but it was addressed quickly and followed up to make sure everything was fixed to my satification. My recommendation if you are on the wire about moving your small-med range company over to hosted exchange because you are completely taxed, not enough server horse power, not enough IT budget, or plain and simple do not know how to manage exchange correctly do not hesitate to use Sherweb. I have not regeted it... matter of fact I can get a full night of sleep now, dreamfree of backup nightmares...

Began using Sherweb in Aug 2007. 60 days of service thus far. Service has been very good. A few(maybe 3) brief periods(less than 10 minutes) where my connection to the Exchange server was lost. During this time, other internet connectivity was fine, so I assume this was a Sherweb problem. Contact with the support folks has been pleasant and they are knowledgeable. Great pricing compared to other Exchange hosting providers. One minor nit is that they do not offer SMTP (outbound) email interfaces for sending mail. This is not a HUGE deal, but I have some users who do not use an Exchange compatible mail client(Thunderbird/Apple Mail.app) so they need to send via SMTP protocol. We used gmail SMTP servers for this. Google allows you to send through their SMTP servers as another(non-gmail) email address. You have to have a gmail account and then you must validate the external email address. Takes about 5 minutes. All in all, Sherweb has done a great job thus far.

I had problems signing up on a france holiday, didn't get set up until monday, 3 days, when i was be able to talk to costumer service. it was a setup bug where username was different in outlook to the phone. I am been happy since then , no problems for months.
