We were big fans of Intermeida until the pricing went extremely high and support and uptime fell though the floor. We just recovered from no inbound email service for 4 days. It took 2 days before the Russiun support team to acknolege a problem and then 2 days to think about it. The previous outage we were down for 3 days and they had to restore from tape (So much for EMC relablity) Pricing for sharepoint is over $400 per month and so slow you can watch paint dry. We are looking for a new providor and hopefully get off this mess asap.
From the Mailstreet site:
"MailStreet's Microsoft Exchange Server 2003® hosting provides enterprise-class reliability, performance and value for a simple, low monthly cost.
Exchange hosting is our core competency. By selecting MailStreet, you enable your organization to reap the benefits of enterprise class messaging without the high costs associated with implementation and maintenance of an in-house system. "

Price: $9.95/Month per mailbox with the purchase of two (2) or more mailboxes
Before we started working with Mailstreet, our people spent too much of their days rifling through spam and phishing to get to the "real" e-mails. As for me, I get so much spam that it would fill up my e-mail quota. It's been wonderful to have Mailstreet look after our best interests and absolutely minimize the opportunity for our lesser-technical people to infect our network with e-mail viruses. Thanks, Mailstreet!

I've been with MailStreet and this was the only outage i've had in 3 years. I'm sticking with them despite the issue.

Mailstreet was down for 24 hrs due to a mistake by one of the techs who wiped out all data. The only backup was two days old. My email for the last few days was LOST! I'm not sure another service would have been any better but the lack of redundancy is extremely disappointing.

They have been down for quite a while now (January 12, 2007). The mail has been down since 10:45 last night. Their live chat does not answer and they have a bit of a scarry mnesage on their home page "We are experiencing a system outage. Mailboxes located in one of the following forests will be unavailable until further notice, please check back into this site for updates. Forests affected: MailStreet2003, MSE5, MSE7, MSE8. We deeply regret the inconvenience this may cause". Time to look for a new Exchange Hosting Company.

Bigger is better right?? Well that’s what I thought... Up until today, I can not believe the level of service that I have received from the “best in the business” So far this has been my experience: 1.) My email accounts have been down since at least 9pm last night 2.) Mailstreet phones: NO ANSWER 3.) Mailstreet Live Chat: NO ANSWER 4.) Mailstreet Email: No ANSWER I am in the dark here both literally and figuratively… and Mailstreet has been keeping me in the dark completely. Needless to say I will be searching out a new Hosted Exchange Provider. If MailStreet would answer me by email, phone, or chat, and I had a clue as to when services would be restored, I might not be as angry as I am right now.
